Women’s Choirs
Women’s Choirs.
Take away the men, and it’s all about the music.
Myths:
1. There just isn’t any great music available for SSAA choirs.
Visit choral repertoire websites to search for great literature!

.Women’s Choirs.
2. Festivals are more about mixed choirs.
Some great reasons to take your SSA choir to a festival:
…Because it gives your choir another goal.
…Because the Mixed Choir gets to go.
…Because you’ll get to hear other choirs.
…Because you’ll get to hear new repertoire.
…Because you’ll get constructive feedback from a clinician.
…Because your choir will improve every year if you do.
(….and of course, you’ll have fun on the bus).
3. Most Girls would rather be in a mixed choir.
Mixed choir may be “where the boys are,”
…but there is a special bond between the members of a women’s choir.
Once you’ve been in one, you may never want to return to SATB land.
