Welcome to the Children’s Choir Page! I have compiled a list of local children’s choir events in the 2011-2012 season all in one place, in alphabetical order. Included are: The American Boychoir (home concerts), Children’s Chorus of Sussex County, ChildrenSong, New Jersey Youth Chorus, Newark Boys Chorus, Rutgers Children’s Chorus, and the Princeton Girlchoir. Please see each choir’s individual website for additional information. If any NJ children’s choirs are missing from this list, please send their concert information to me. I hope that your schedules allow you to come attend some of these events. We all get so busy leading our own rehearsals and concerts, that we forget how it can feel to be an audience member, and experience a new song for the first time. Saturday, December 17, 7:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 64 Main St., Newton, NJ. CCSCHoliday Concert with Bel Canto, Bella Voce and the Concert Choir.  Tickets are $10.00.  Sunday, December 18, 2:00 PM (Snow date).

Sunday, June 3 - 2:00 PM at Sussex County Community College, Bel Canto and Bella Voce will perform at the Butterfly Release program sponsored by the Karen Ann Quinlin Hospice.

Saturday, June 16 - 7:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, Bel Canto, Bella Voce and Concert Choir will perform a Spring Concert.  Tickets are $10.00

June 24-29 - The Concert Choir will be in residence at Ithaca College for a Choral Conducting course sponsored by Ithaca College.

ChildrenSong

Blessings and Yuletide: ChildrenSong of New Jersey will present Blessings and Yuletide on Sunday, December 4th at the First Presbyterian Church (20 Kings Hwy E) in Haddonfield at 3:00pm. The concert will feature singer/songwriter Caroline Jones singing her own dazzling arrangements of holiday favorites with ChildrenSong singers. The Choir will also present a treble version of The Messiah by Handel, John Rutter’s Dancing Day, and joyful holiday favorites.
